Help eradicate hunger with Action Contre La Faim

Action Contre La Faim is a French NGO whose mission is to eradicate hunger and save lives through the prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition, in particular during and after emergency situations caused by conflicts and natural disasters.

Action Contre La Faim works directly with and alongside communities in 46 countries through:

• Nutrition and health programs: Preventing, detecting and treating malnutrition by improving the capacity of health systems;

• Food security and livelihoods: Ensuring access to quality food in sufficient quantities, in a sustainable and fair manner;

• Access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene: Providing access to drinking water and better hygiene conditions;

• Mental health, psychosocial support and protection: Supporting people who have experienced trauma and may lose the will to live;

• Emergency preparedness and response: Responding quickly with and for populations affected by crises;

• Intervention research: Improving the quality and effectiveness of our field interventions;

• Advocacy: Mobilising public opinion and influencing political and economic decision-makers.

Partnership with the Airbus Foundation:

Action Contre La Faim (ACF) has a long-standing partnership with the Airbus Foundation for humanitarian aid and emergency response activities (relief flights, helicopter hours, satellite imagery and capacity building through access to a variety of Airbus training products).

Since 2021, Airbus Foundation have been engaging with ACF for their Connected Against Hunger sport challenge and more than 11,500 Airbus employees have had the opportunity to participate in it.
