Created in 1979, our Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) – Action contre la Faim (ACF) - is fighting against hunger in the world.

Our mission is to save lives eradicating hunger through the prevention, detection, and treatment of malnutrition, in particular during and after emergency situations caused by conflicts and natural disasters.
In addition to our emergency interventions, we develop sustainable solutions to ensure the long-term autonomy of communities.

We bring our expertise to various areas such as health and nutrition, food security and livelihoods, access to water, sanitation and hygiene, climate, and also mental health.

Structured on an international network, our organization provides a coordinated response in more than 55 countries. In 2023, we supported more than 21 million people.
